My name is Joe Hafner, I’m the Vice-President of the Maryland Waterfowler's Association and your Regional Director point of contact for Frederick, Washington, Allegany and Garrett Counties. I’ve been a resident of Frederick Maryland since 1990. I’ve been a lifelong hunter born in north-eastern Pennsylvania. When I moved to Maryland I continued that passion, and was introduced to waterfowl hunting in 1998. I am fairly new to the sport but hooked nonetheless. Like many of us I am a freelance hunter, hunting primarily public lands. Now, and in the past, I have worked to ensure that the little guy has access. That objective is what brought me to the Maryland Waterfowler's Association. We are dedicated to the future of the sport in our state. We are the the organization of Maryland hunters dedicated exclusively to fellow waterfowl hunters.
